MH advice

As cliche as it sounds, this simple sentence has helped me greatly with dealing with depression.

For almost two years I suffered with an aliment that I had no idea what it was. I was trapped in my own world of pain. What was the cause? Would I ever get better? Is this the new me?

When I was first diagnosed with depression I would not believe it and thought the doctor was crazy. Didn’t he realize that all my symptoms were PHYSICAL? But now everything makes sense and I am so thankful that he spoke up and saw the real cause.

I speak out because I am not alone. When you speak up you are not alone. We join MILLIONS of people who are struggling with mental health and who have already made the commitment to help others.

Speak up because you might just save a life.
