Let’s get cozy and talk about mental health!

May is Mental Health Awareness month. Even though the month is ending, caring for your mental health is a 24/7 thing. It can’t be contained into just one month. You need to care for your mental health just like you care for your physical health. I have learned the hard way that mental and physical health are connected.

Unfortunately there is still so much stigma again mental health resources. Stigma against going to therapy and stigma against taking medicine. I go to therapy AND take medicine. Both of these things have greatly helped me and I really need them both.

Remember: there is no shame in needing help and you’re not alone.
