This week (Oct 1 to Oct 7) is mental health awareness week.
This is an important week to raise awareness around mental health and other issues that are related. Though more information is known about mental illness, people who suffer are often misunderstood and defined by their illness.
Each day this week Each Mind Matters is posting a question to encourage discussion about mental health. I will be using these questions as blog prompts to write my own thoughts about mental health and do what I can to help spread awareness.
I hope to share my personal story in order to spread more information and help end stigma against those who struggle with mental health.
