9/11: Never Forget

I still can’t believe that it has been over 10 years since the tragedy that happened in New York City…. like many, I remember where I was and how I heard about the events.

I know for many the events of 9/11 are still present. The events are not in the past. They are in the here and now and will be in the future.

I feel so sorry for the family and loved ones of those who were lost on that fateful day. I can’t imagine their pain and I pray for them!

I’m humbled by the action of the first responders and people who signed up to defend our country. You are what makes America great.

My thoughts are with the people who continued to suffer, both physically and mentally, from the events.

I was able to visit the 9/11 Memorial earlier this summer. It was a sobering experience. I hope the memorial, and museum, helps the world never to forget and to learn about acceptance, love and courage.

May we never forget 9/11
