Nature. When I experienced health issues at the being of my time at the @computerhistory, I escaped to nature on my lunch breaks. I appreciate/love museums that incorporate nature into their exhibits. And I love when parks display information about the plants, history of the land etc. nature is a great museum.

I have so many books that I have to keep books related to computing history at work. Unfortunately I am not currently reading anything about computing history but looking forward to changing that!
Day 20: the last 12 months. Professionally, the last 12 months have been difficult for me. I have experienced setbacks at work but this quote has really helped me. These career setbacks are temporary and have helped me plan for my comeback. I can’t wait to see whats next.

Are museums just collectors that display their collected items? We have a group who hosts an event each year at the Computer History Museum. They collect slide rules. It warms my heart to see them all together because it’s a group of people who have found their people ❤️
Day 16: name something big. -my ambition -my goals -my ideas -my standards for myself -how I want to change the world -how I want to change museums
My workspace is always a mess. But I’m pretty sure I’ve read articles that a messy desk is a sign of genius/leader etc. that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Representation does matter. I believe that government, organizations and MUSEUMS should reflect the community. History is made up of many stories, faces and voices.
